Sean May was a Chief Deputy District Attorney with the 17^th Judicial District Attorney’s office. During his 7 years of service in Adams County, Sean volunteered for the Child Victim Unit where he pursued justice for children who had been physically and/or sexually abused. At the time of his death, he was responsible for training and supervising new prosecutors. In this role, Sean always stressed the importance of acting responsibly, including treating victims, the community, defendants, and the courts with dignity and respect. Sean May was gunned down outside his home on August 27^th, 2008.
