For reporting information, click on the REPORTING SCHEDULE tab above. You cannot be excused on the day of your service. An average day of service is from 8 AM to 5 PM. Please fill out your questionnaire and have your entire summons with you when you report.

Parking lot and building construction is occurring which will cause delays parking, getting around the buildings and going through security. Please park in the main lot on Potomac Street. Do NOT enter off of Fremont Place. Please proceed to the rear of Courthouse 1, which is 7325 South Potomac Street. General public, including those who require ADA access, will enter the building on the west side of the courthouse. There will be signage to direct you. Please plan accordingly and allow an extra 20-30 minutes to arrive to the jury assembly room on time.

Disqualifications and postponement requests must be made five business days before your jury service date. For a postponement, please go the POSTPONEMENT tab above and select a Monday or Tuesday within the next six months when you know you can appear. You may only have one postponement.
