County Court Civil Money Case Information: County Court Civil returns are Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. except legal holidays The Return Date on Summons is for the defendant to file an answer with the clerk’s office and pay the appropriate filing fee. Please refer to JDF 96 for more information. Once the Answer Is filed the court will work with the parties to set a pre-trial conference date or trial. If the defendant fails to file an Answer on this date the plaintiff should file their Motion for Default and Proposed Order with the court within 7 days.
