The Nineteenth Judicial District includes all of Weld County, the third largest county in Colorado. In Fiscal Year 2009 (July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009) there were more than 41,000 cases filed in the Weld County Combined Courts. That number includes more than 30,000 cases filed in county court, more than 11,000 in district court and nearly 350 water cases. There are 16.25 judicial officers in the Nineteenth Judicial District that includes eight district court judges and four county court judges. In addition to the judges, there are 3.25 magistrates and one water referee.
