Andrew Hartman- Division 5 - 20th Judicial District Judge

  Judge Hartman practiced various aspects of commercial law for more than 20 years in private practice for leading high tech
  and consumer oriented companies. He was a partner for ten years at the AmLaw 100 firm Cooley LLP in Colorado, chairing
  the Colorado commercial litigation practice, and before that at the law firm now known as Reed Smith in Chicago. Judge
  Hartman co-founded a boutique emerging company firm focusing on the Rocky Mountain technology and LOHAS
  community.  In addition to private practice, Judge Hartman served as the acting general counsel for Keen footwear and
  Chrome bags.  Judge Hartman was University of Colorado Law School's director of experiential learning for 4 years
  and taught trademark, unfair competition, false advertising and copyright law at CU for over 12 years. Judge Hartman is
  also the author of the well-received book The Six Minute Marathon, A Guide to Life as a Lawyer
  www.sixminutemarathon.com. Judge Hartman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his
  law degree, with honors, from Georgetown University where he served as an editor of the American Criminal Law Review. Judge
  Hartman was admitted to the bar in 1989.
