Judge Taylor, who joined the bench Aug. 23, 2010, presides in Division 16 hearing district court felony matters. Previously Judge Taylor practiced in the areas of family law, criminal defense, general civil litigation, administrative law, and non-profit corporation law as a partner at Taylor and Rapp (2002-10). He has served as a municipal judge in Gilcrest (2000-04), Nineteenth Judicial District deputy district attorney (1992-97), and staff attorney for the Legal Services Corporation in Washington, D.C. (1991-92). Judge Taylor received his B.A. from the University of Colorado and juris doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center.
