Paul King received his undergraduate degree from Bradley University in 1974 and his law degree from the University of Denver in 1978. He was appointed to the bench in 2000 and has served as a district court judge in Douglas County since that time. He currently presides over criminal and civil cases.
He has previously been employed by the office of the District Attorney in the 18th Judicial District and also in private practice. He has served as past president of the Douglas-Elbert Bar Association and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Sky Cliff Stroke Center in Castle Rock and a member of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Lutheran High School Association.
