
Thomas R. French was appointed as a District Court Judge in the 8th Judicial District by Governor Bill Ritter and took the bench in January, 2011. He served as a deputy and chief deputy district attorney in Denver from 1978 to 1982, and he was in private practice in Denver and Fort Collins from 1982 to 2011.
Judge French received his bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado. He was admitted to the Colorado bar in 1978.
