Judge Montgomery was appointed as District Court Judge for Boulder County in August 2001. She was previously on the County Court bench since January of 1997. Prior to her appointments, she served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Twentieth Judicial District for fourteen years. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1982.
